Resulting in coverage of 30 targeted product areas within Markit tracking 2 Billion client transactions per quarter. Providing on demand detailed insights into client transactional behavior and expediting root cause analysis during outages.Role then diversified by creating and leading an event management discipline within Markit centralizing the support, strategy, budget and road maps for monitoring in all forms across the enterprise. Introduced and integrated our global incident command centers to a single Manger of Managers presentation solution (Monolith AssureNow). Collapsing a forest of disparate monitoring tool consoles and manual processes into a single central solution; yielding major improvements to operational efficiency expediting events into the incident management workflow. Promoted to Director, Enterprise Monitoring December 2014.Role switched from management back to individual contributor in 2016 taking the Principal Engineer title to develop monitoring responses to our organisational cloud transformation challenges. Ongoing work integrating new event sources, acquisitions, consolidating toolsets and engineering monitoring solutions to meet IHS Markits dynamic requirements. Recently role has advanced into architecture of cloud based event management frameworks and digital dexterity tooling assisting the companies cloud adoption.
