Although this job was a lot of routine it gave me useful understanding of how a large company runs, and a lot of experience I can use in my future job.

      Recovery leader

      - The Recovery Leader participates in any handover activities associated with on-going emergencies, either at beginning or end of shift. The RL assures that required technical staff and other specialists also participate in the handover and that remote connections (if in use) are handed over in a coordinated way. - On any emergency event the Recovery Leader is responsible to ensure that any required support staff & necessary resources (facilities, equipment, systems, etc.) are available, involved and focused in restoral of the system, and to do execution of the Escalation Decision Point discussion & decision following company's WLA, SLA & SOP Process.. - Ensure that the recovery is proceeding in a timely and efficient manner. - Determine if the Event is properly classified as an Emergency and takes appropriate actions.- Ensure that all relevant data that is collected during the emergency event is available to be logged in any post-event CSR's or activities. - Manage the information and interfaces both internal and external support areas. - Participates with various levels of Global Support management in post-event analysis to determine if the case was properly handled from initiation to conclusion.- While RL guide recovery team working on network functionality recovery, RL also need to use SAP/SMS writing EE report every 1or 2 hour, record troubleshooting progress. When network issue is fixed, need write a general report to record the case fixed reason, then use Metis system sharing the information to CU, T2 , PDU, etc. department, for Ericsson later meet same/ similar issue troubleshooting use.So far Lead Recovery Team solved more than 700 emergency cases & help customers restore their network back to functionality within timely manner, which highly maintained customers' satisfaction.
