      In this role, I am responsible for coordinating all the MEAL and Research activities in the organizational country program interventions, ensuring program quality assurance, the SMART indicators defined in the frameworks and policies and Ensure quality programming through supporting access to and use of relevant and timely information on program scale, relevance, and effectiveness. Within this context, provide technical support to in-country staff pertaining to MEAL, Proposal development, Program Design, Theory of Change development and build capacity in the country program team by identifying and supporting the implementation of effective, cost efficient and meaningful M&E systems.The key achievements: Spearheaded, coordinated the implementation of Outcome Harvesting Evaluation as an innovation to the MEARL Unit, Spearheaded the development of technical program design for the country intervention following global office strategy of five years and ensuring that projects planning use Human centered design approach and championed the development of consultants TOR for baseline, Midterm and end term evaluations and the entire research implementation and the development of abstracts and spearheaded the implementation and sharing the country performance metrics (Time, Scope and Budget) and the balance scored measurement of organizational health. Show less In this role, I do provide substantive and hands-on support to Area Programs (APs). Ensures that the projects stay on time, scope, and budget, promote practice of performance, accountability, and risk management in line with in line with FH’s “Transforming Field Experience (TFE)” re-imagination initiative and ensuring that the country transitions well the new program Model. The Position also support the “ecosystem approach” of coordinating support to Program Delivery across APs with surge support to HR, Procurement and logistics, Business development, Finance, Admin and IT support services. Show less In this role, I am responsible for MEAL and Research activities in the northern region including; designing data collection tools based on the project indicators, support the project team and partners to collect accurate and quality data as well as identified staff training needs then coordinated them to strengthen their skills in M&E programing in Malaria, Livelihood, WASH, Nutrition and Family Planning. Updating Monitoring and Evaluation guidelines (AMELP and SOPs) and spearheaded the development of the SBCC, Livelihood, Education, Nutrition and WASH data collection tools. Developed filling system to track all data collected; nutrition client cards, registers and forms, ensured that the research component is descended in the country office, providing technical Support and mentorship to health facilities in thematic areas of Health and nutrition. The key achievements: Analyzed and ensured that data collected is entered into the different donor data bases including Education, Livelihood, Nutrition, WASH and Malaria data are reported into UNHCR Data base, DHIS II and FH Global database to track the implementation; Designed, coordinated and conducted the KAPs surveys, Mass MUAC, Weight for Height and Post Distribution Monitoring.
