Track is a world-class program with its roots in the United States and that spread world wide. It was implemented in GMB’s Finance team in 2014. Created by industry leaders, GMB TRACK program is a 3-year rotational program, which provides: Hands-on practice learning, Senior GMB Finance executives mentoring, Tailor-made trainings and Carreer progress through a development tracking. I was recruited to the GM Vehicle, Sales and Marketing (VSM) Finance team and was allocated to be responsible for the OnStar Mercosur Finance operation. Main responsibilities went from Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to assuring compliance and proper accounting processes.The main challenge was to structure processes and improve analysis, achieving the high quality GM standard, since it was a startup business in Brazil and Argentina. GM South America Regional Close, Consolidation and Analysis team. Daily activities included: performing financial statements Variance Analysis, Consolidating Journal Entries (CJE’s), Balance Sheet Reviews, developing managerial presentations to the leadership and others. Also, developed a forecast model and a Key Metrics report for the GMSA region.
