  Prestige Architectural Homes began in August 2018, founded by Taehee Kim. As a registered Domestic Building Unlimited builder (DB-U: 46916) with over 17 years’ experience, Taehee is also a registered builder from New Zealand and a Master Builder Victoria member. Taehee started his building apprenticeship in 2007. After achieving the National Standard in Traditional Korean construction at the Hanok Academy of Traditional Architecture in Korea in 2010, Taehee furthered his education by completing the National Certificate in Carpentry, and became a licensed Building Practitioner. He also completed a Diploma in Quantity Surveying in the following two years. In 2013, he studied a Bachelor of Building Science at the University of Victoria in Wellington New Zealand. Taehee is also familiar with a range of industry software, including Cost-X (current Prestige's estimating software), CoConstruct (current Prestige's Construction Financial & Communication software), Cubit, Bluebeam, Jobpac, iTwo-CX and Aconex. This expertise complements his field experience in quantity surveying along with contract administration and estimation in projects ranging from schools, apartments, sports centres, medical clinics, as well as new custom houses.
