Diagnostic and Statistical manual of Mental Disorder, Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) and HCPCS) codes into multiply claims entry for inpatient hospital, outpatient, office, skilled nursing facility and other ancillaries.• Apply advance knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, disease processes, treatment modalities, diagnostic tests, medications, procedures as well as the principles and practices of health services and the organizational structure to ensure proper code selection.• Monitored ever-changing regulatory and policy requirements affecting coded information for the full spectrum of services provided through AAPC and AHIMA.• Maintained a record of work accomplishments and backlogs providing a daily report to the coding manager. Daily reports are discussed during the morning meetings regarding daily projections.
