  Worked on a 727 flight simulator project to design and implement a interface between a new host and a 80/05 board used for I/O controls. Replaced the computer and interface hardware up to the I/O controller with a modern PC and used two parallel ports on the PC for the communication between the PC and the I/O controller. Wrote and successfully implemented programs for the testing of the interface communication in Assembly language, C, and C++.   Currently serve as the lead analyst on a team responsible for the day-to-day administration and enhancement of Shelby County’s enterprise content management system and various capture and process management implementations. Other initiatives and responsibilities include:● Project Manager over the purchase and implementation of a new ITSM suite that will support the functions of the Service Desk and include many ITIL processes such as Incident Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, and Service Catalog Management.● Continually work with business units to identify requirements, evaluate and recommend the feasibility of various solutions, and to ultimately implement a solution using in-house resources and/or purchase and integrate a COTS application that will meet their needs.● Build integrations between systems including Shelby County’s ERP system, the enterprise content management system, in-house web application development deployments, and various other COTS and in-house developed applications.● Facilitate team activities including status meetings, code reviews, version control tasks, knowledge base creation and utilization, project prioritization, and resource management.● Serve as technical resource between Information Technology and various other Shelby County departments and stakeholders.● Currently working towards my Project Management Professional and ITIL Expert certifications.
