  In this position I coordinated with several offices on campus to make the Transfer Student Orientation Program. I also maintained the website for orientation and keep the staff up to date with technology, primarily connectivity software, that we used. I was responsible for the recruitment of the Executive Board for Johns Hopkins Orientation 2011, and managed that board to conduct the Orientation that all of the freshmen will go through. I am responsible for tutoring approximately 10 students in either math or physics for a full term. This process focuses on having the students teach each other with the tutor as a guide, and ensures that each student fully understands the content of the course instead of just finding the answers. I troubleshoot network, software and hardware issues that students on campus have. This involves everything from installing hard lines and configuring a wireless connection on both ends, to dealing with OS issues and and daily use hardware.

  I was tasked with maintaining the educational technologies in 130 classrooms on the Johns Hopkins Homewood campus. This includes installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and training for all classroom technology. I also helped manage the student workers in charge of answering the help line and work with them to improve their troubleshooting skills. I troubleshot classroom audio visual technologies at the Johns Hopkins University. This involved teaching the professors and students how to use the equipment as well as assessing broken equipment and replacing it accordingly. When students are not in classes I also completed full upgrades room by room as necessary.
