  During my employment at North West Kent College my roles varied covering, Curriculum Supervision, I.T Lecturing and NVQ Assessing. As part of these roles I was responsible for the management of two separate small teams of Lectures in the delivery of two qualification strands, Creative Interactive Media Games Development and Professional Competency in ICT and Telecoms. Initiatives that I implemented include the creation of a small business entity allowing staff members and students across the college to access a free of charge technical workshop for all PC and software related technical issues. Through implementation of this service i was able to deliver and teach the key requirements of IT relevant roles and responsibilities including client liaisons and how to build strong customer relationships through continual project updates and project reviews, the requirement to continually review own and systems processes to improve and hone them to become more efficient. Within this initiative I reviewed and worked with others to provide clients and staff with support that was pitched to client technical level understanding. The implementation of the workshop was identified within an Ofsted report as good practice during thier visit to the college. In addition to my team leadership role I delivered nationally recognised qualifications to students from any array of competency levels including and not limited to introductory levels up to Foundation Degree. In my lecturing role I taugth key skills including installations of operating systems (covering Windows, Apple and Linux distributions) hardware installations, troubleshooting and repair, network installation, configuration and support. I lectured differing levels of Web design and development (client and server side scripting with access to MySQL, incorporating HTML 5, CSS3, PHP and JavaScript’s). I also delivered key aspects and features of the Microsoft Office suite. Show less
