  ● A student community about Information Security focused on training for Capture the Flag (CTF) online challenges. The main goal is to solve tasks in categories such as Cryptography, Steganography, Reverse Engineering, Web, and Forensics.● As a member, achieved 2nd place in the 2019 Mandabyte, a national CTF organized by the Cyber Defense Command of the Brazilian Army.● As part of the staff, gave introductory lectures about Python and Cryptography to the new members.

  ● A student community focused on learning and giving lessons on Algorithms and Data Structures and training for programming competitions like International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC).● As manager and professor, planned classes and contests, taught new members, and created weekly training routines.● As a member, achieved 1st place team of Rio de Janeiro in the 2019 ICPC Subregional Phase, Bronze Medal in the 2021 ICPC Latin America Finals, Silver Medal in the 2022 ICPC Latin America Finals, got qualified to the 2023 ICPC World Finals at Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.● As part of the staff, helped develop the IMEpp Agenda Telegram Bot, created to assist in managing the group activities. It has integration with Google Calendar to show the latest events and SQLite database to store links to training lists, contests, and class materials.● In 2019, from the group of new members, after one semester of training, 2 of them achieved 2nd place team of Rio de Janeiro in the ICPC Subregional Phase, 1 won a medal in the Brazilian Olympiad in Informatics. Show less ● Organized a volunteer group to mentor university students about the career and interview process of Big Tech companies.● The group consists of current or former Big Tech employees who help students on topics such as: - What it's like to work at a Big Tech - How are the coding and behavioral interviews - Which are the basic requirements for University Grad offers - Which websites and books to use to prepare for interviews - Resume guidelines and review - Interview simulation with feedback - Coding best practices● In 2022, out of 10 mentees, 3 got an internship offer and 2 got a full-time offer.   ● Worked in the Azure Virtual Network Manager Team, assigned to the Fundamentals V-Team. ● Augmented the C# codebase in several areas to support infrastructures with multiple authentication zones. This feature was one of Adobe's and BlackRock's main requests, required for the successful onboarding of our product.● Expanded the testing framework to support local authentication checking, with component tests. This allows the developers to catch eventual incompatibilities with the new multi-zone design in a few minutes without having to rely on CI infrastructure tests, which take hours to run. The solution was presented to a coworking team, which appreciated the concept and decided to replicate it in their codebase.● Created several unit and component tests, achieving and surpassing the team's goal of 80% code coverage. ● Enforced more accurate typing of IDs and URLs, shrinking the eventual runtime type errors to user input casting in the front-end. ● Wrote the public API, following the OAS (OpenAPI Specification), for creating multi-zone authentication instances of NMs (Network Managers) through CLI. The design was made in a joint effort of our and other Azure teams to be compliant with all the security concerns presented by the Azure Resource Manager team. ● Learned about the DRI (Designated Response Individual) role, by investigating a customer-impacting incident, developing a patch, and writing a post-mortem report. ● Upon completing the internship, received an offer to return as a full-time employee.
