  • Designed & modeled instrument cabinets for environmental monitoring systems (EMS) and underground water level recorder (piezometer), indoor and outdoor air quality monitors (AQM) using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, followed by sheet metal fabrication via CNC laser cutting and bending machine.• Played the role of fabrication and production engineer and improved the casing design of indoor and outdoor AQM using DMAIC methodology and then carried out the modelling procedure using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software.• Effectively conducted the calibration test and identified possible causes of errors in temperature readings of SHT31 temperature and humidity sensor employed in the indoor AQM. Designed various housing prototypes to troubleshoot the causes of errors and then fabricated the prototypes for testing using FDM 3D printing.• Designed and fabricated the mounts of electronic sensors (SHT31, VOC, SPM, CO2, NO2, SO2, etc.) using Solidworks and 3D printing.• Maintained Bill of Materials (BOM), product documentation using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel pertaining to various design and development phases.
