  Parliamentary Assistant

  I participated in CIJA's Parliamentary Internship program, during which I worked for MPs from two different political parties. I answered phones, took meeting notes, attended events, organized the office, researched policy issues and provided any other support the staff and Member of Parliament required. As would be expected, I also had many good-hearted political arguments over beers in the bars of Sparks Street and at Hill events.

  I am directing climate change work at the Leadership Lab (at Toronto Metropolitan University). We are focusing on training people how to talk about climate change and how to identify climate misinformation. We are also working on a project to speak to thousands of young people across Canada about climate change.
