      Since co-founding LISA, the organisation has positioned itself as a primary hub in London focused on capacity building in Global Catastrophic Risk reduction, specifically focused on reducing the risk of uncontrolled, advanced AI-systems. LISA does this by:- supporting research organisations, upskilling programmes, and independent researchers,- being a conduit through which talented individuals can enter and grow the AI-safety ecosystem, and- infrastructural and administrative support for new AI-safety projects to unlock further research.Since its inception in 2023, LISA has grown its membership and supported multiple AI-safety programmes and fellowships in various fields of AI-safety including:- independent research, - educational seminar & upskilling programmes, - research fellowships focusing on risks from emerging technologies, and - fellowships for researchers studying complex and intelligent behavior in natural and social systems who are motivated by the mission of making AI systems safe and beneficial Show less
