  Working LOA cases holistically which may require deep dives from time to time to assess what is going on with a case as we are currently working cases by tasks instead of owning and working our own cases. Expectations are to review any and all documents on the case, the absence claim, benefit claim and accommodation request if any on the case. The case is to updated as much as possible based on the medical documentation provided, update the employee as needed, and enter in any accommodation request if employee has restrictions. Send review to clinical team as needed, or workers compensation, or escalation team. Collaborating with Workers Compensation as well to get updates and likewise with the accommodation team and HR to get updates or provide details regarding case. Sometimes trouble tickets are needed to refund UPT or update a return to work. In addition, my scheduled is flexed to work weekends as a point of contact for new hires and temps to answer questions regarding DLS processes and to help facilitate their needs. Show less
