  Quality Systems & Product Quality: Implement Quality systems, adherence to Food safety and Regulatory policies & standards (National & International). Design an inspection plan for ingredients / intermediate product / Finished Goods / PM including specifications, test procedures, sampling procedures. Co-ordinate with the plant to conduct the inspection and testing of products and ensure consistent quality of products. Ensure QA approved products are released for further processing or distribution. Validate process capability of inspection, measuring & test equipment’s. Co-ordinate with R&D for post launch or periodic product performance reviews and modify specifications for Finished Goods.• Food Safety, GMP & Hygiene: Assessment & audit of operations w.r.t Food safety and implement CAPA. Keep vigilance on GMP and hygiene standards at all levels of processing.  Implement effective cleaning, sanitation and pest control programs.• Consumer Complaints: Pro-active action plan to ensure no customer complaints. Investigate consumer complaint with RCA & propose CAPA. Engage with sales team & customer to resolve complaints.• New Developments & Projects: Coordinate with R&D and marketing to for developments of new products. Plant and lab trials for substitution of raw material for product quality improvement / cost reduction. Coordinate with R&D and supply chain for development of new / alternate vendors.• Audit Compliance: Compliance to internal quality & Food Safety audit and external audits like FSSC 22000, QMS, Global audits like RSPO.• People: Conduct training programs and ensure awareness of food safety and quality requirements throughout the organization. Conduct employee performance reviews based on the job discerptions to determine competency, knowledge and contribution of maintenance technicians.
