  Pure Rent is dedicated to making paying rent online plain and simple. Renters are able to pay their rent with a single click. Landlords can keep track of rent payments, maintenance costs, and communicate with their renters without wasting any time. As the CTO of Pure Rent, I am in charge of the full stack. I developed the application in Ruby on Rails using a combination of Ruby for the backend and Sass and Coffeescript for the Front End. I am in charge of making sure all of our background workers are implemented including checking for due rent each night and late fees on rent due.   Fidelity Investments is the fourth largest mutual fund and financial services group in the world. While working with Fidelity I worked with an internal automation team. Our goal was to automate the loadbalancing process for the Network Engineers.We built an api as well as a client facing single page app that consumed the api. We build the api using python. The client facing app was ran on a node server, with angular as the single page framework.My primarily role was updating our UI to have a more modern look an feel and to promote ease of use. The single page application is ran in angular. We also tested our application using Jasmine. We tested our controllers, services, and directives.We also set up integration tests using casperjs.My secondary role was creating and update API calls as well as fixing any bugs in existing api calls. Our api was wrote in python using the Django framework. We also tested all of our api code.We were an agile team. Working in 2 week sprints, having retrospectives, backlog meetings etc.We used Git for version control. Show less
