      Project Trainee

      Extensive research and study on use of reaction calorimeter for process development and safety . Performed experiments on hydrolysis of all anhydrides like succinic, propionic, maleic , acetic and nitration of benzaldehyde. Results for reaction enthalpy, MTSR, ATR, Stoessel criticality criteria were calculated for all. Attempted to find the arrhenius constant and activation energy for acetic anhydride hydrolysis reaction.

      Btech Major Project

      Currently working on project titled " Removal of aluminium from wastewater ". Synthetically prepared water containing aluminium upto 10ppm. Adsorption process was employed for aluminium removal and reducing its concentration upto 0.03 ppm to make water potable using pumice stoneas an adsorbent. Results for adsorption capacity, leftover aluminium concentration and analysis tests like XRD, BET and SEM too were performed.
