Maryknoll Lay Missioners is a Catholic organization that places professionals overseas in regions of great need to work with partner communities on issues such as health care, education, small business development, environmental issues, human trafficking, and incarceration.I direct a team of 4 masters’ level professionals as we recruit, place, and train teachers, medical professionals, social workers, pastoral ministers, and other lay people to work with our partners in El Salvador, Bolivia, Brazil, Cambodia, Tanzania, Kenya, Haiti, the US-Mexico Border and South Sudan for 2.5 year and 3.5 year commitments. We also offer short-term solidarity trips to learn about the struggles and creative responses to pressing social issues of people in our partner countries and communities. I have led a group to Bolivia, to Cochabamba and the altiplano, as part of my work.Message me if you're interested in a two week trip or longer volunteer commitment! Show less
