Medical and psychiatric population includes Borderline Personality Disorder, Autism Spectrum, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, OCD, Gender Dysphoria and PTSD.• Maintained a caseload of approximately four to seven clients per week of short-term and long-term therapy clients and used primarily a CBT approach for treatment that was supplemented with DBT skills.• Provided individual and group therapy in person and via telehealth.• Established and facilitated a therapy group called “Crafts and Care” that provided psychoeducation on the benefits of using art as a mindfulness tool to manage anxiety and stress. Additionally, the group provided participants with CBT, DBT, and ACT skills in a safe and open environment. Attendance varied between one to six students.• Developed a written curriculum for the “Crafts and Care” group for the college to continue to utilize for future groups.• Participated and hosted outreach opportunities that involved presentations, providing resources and information about Saddleback’s Student Health and Wellness Center during midterms, finals, and senior days.• Assessed individuals with a variety of cognitive and personality measures to establish a diagnosis and assess psychological functioning. Additionally, attends team and behavioral health department meetings. • Works with interpretation services to provide therapy, case management and assessment to clients who speak different languages.• Holds a caseload of 6 to 9 long-term therapy clients (Spanish and English speakers) and a case load of 2 assessment clients. Utilizes CBT, DBT skills, existentialism and body awareness when providing therapy services.• Provides case management services to connect clients with different community-based resources based on needs such as housing, food, childcare, work, etc.• Works with the psychiatry department to schedule clients and provides care coordination which includes consultation with nurses/psychiatrists/MD, attending intakes, and medication management appointments with clients to provide support, interpretation, and additional insight.• Assesses individuals with a variety of neurological, cognitive, and personality measures to establish intellectual/emotional functioning and diagnosis.
