      March 2012 – Present: Contracting through Paracon for GTI Infrastructure Solution Design Standard BankPart of the Class of Service Design Team. The function is to assess the current infrastructure implemented to support a number of services within the bank and classify them into a Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze class of service. This is evaluated against a set of predetermined guidelines based on the expectations of business from the Group Technologies Infrastructure perspective. Any short falls or findings from these analysis documents are then highlighted and projects launched to address these short falls. This information is used to negotiate Service Level Agreements and Operational Level Agreements with business and the support teams.Documented environments conducted by myself over the past year are as follow: - 1. Market Data Systems2. JSE SystemsLarge Projects After the Class of Service analysis was completed I have been involved and completed the Solution Design for the relocation of the Dealing Room. 1. Part of the team assigned to design the Network solution for the Dealing Room 3rd Party and Trusted environment for Rosebank. 2. Consulted on the move of all JSE services within Standard Bank to co-location at the JSE.3. Re-design of the non-production network within the Standard Bank for development and testing purposes.       Currently in the middle of migrating the current data centre networks from a traditional networking infrastructure to an Application Centric Network.Architected connectivity into Teraco for Public Cloud, Internet and 3rd Party connectivity. Next phase will be to migrate services into the Public Cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS. Network Security being a key factor in this process as SBSA is a financial institution whom pride themselves on protecting our customer data and its integrity.Other areas of Network Architecture and Design around Cisco's Application Centric Infrastructure has been the management tool sets required for this environment and automation.
