Collaborated with a teammate onboard to place buoys where instructed, factoring in wind, current, and boat positioning. Communicated clearly with Race Officer to ensure correct buoy placement. Took wind bearing and speed measurements and reported to the Race Officer to ensure satisfactory racing conditions throughout the day. Coordinated quick mark movements with partner, pulling 50-100ft of rope out of the water and replacing mark and anchor at a better location. Enforced the racing rules of sailing. Monitored radio channels for incoming vessel traffic.
