      ISN Maastricht is an International Student Association in Maastricht. They focus on cultural activities, events and try to support International students in any way possible.I started as an active member. During that period I was mainly responsible for practical assistance; helping out at events, shifts, guiding international students and all other kinds of activities. I did this for almost 2 years, but I wanted to contribute on an organisational level.I applied for 2 Advice Councils, Council of Advice and the Human Resource Council.Working in these councils gave me experience in how to run a big organisation, but it also required skills in HR, mainly because I was part of the team responsible for applications and hiring new board members.
