      Bachelor's degree Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience

    • Spartan Racing, SJSU Formula SAE

      Jul 2017 - Jun 2018
      Vice President

I oversaw the sourcing, manufacturing, and testing of the 2018 San Jose State Baja SAE vehicle. I fabricated much of the vehicle, including TIG welding the chassis and all suspension components. I also mentored and grew a team of four into a team of over ten membersUnder my leadership, this team's vehicle went on to finish with the best results in SJSU history, including a 27th place overall and 19th place in Endurance.

    • Specialized Bicycle Components

      Jul 2018 - Dec 2019

I worked with the Mountain Engineering team, studying and improving ride dynamics by creating data acquisition tools. I also developed a lightweight safety critical component for production, offering a 36% weight reduction. Ensured rider safety by setting up and running Ultimate Strength and Fatigue tests on bicycle and bicycle components. Engineered test protocols for system stiffness and suspension duty cycle testing. I assisted the layup development of prototype components by manufacturing composite parts, performing stiffness tests, and processing/presenting test data.I also supported 3D printing operations, including developing the utilization of additively manufactured composite molds.

      • Mechanical Engineering Intern, Mountain Engineering
