During the mid to later years at Tesco, the responsibilities which were given to me increased, on occasions covering team leader jobs.

It is all to do with trust and managing to take in your surroundings such as posters advertising 'Think 25'. Honesty is the key to this job as without submitting the right information, it could mean stores may be selling to the under-age. Job can only be done between the ages of 18 to 20 and consists of traveling the country.

  Designer

  Working alongside naval architects, I carried out design works for the Rosebank FPSO living quarters which was due to be built in South Korea. This included extensive detail design packages for aspects such as the cabins, mess hall, recreation and locker rooms. These design packages comprised of floor plans, reflective ceiling plans, producing 3D visualisations of the bespoke elements and spaces as well as dialoguing with manufacturers.As part of the job, I was also involved in prepared plans and layouts for equipment or system arrangements and space allocation. Interpreted drawing mark-ups and implemented drawing revisions provided by engineers. Coordinated with vendors for aid in project information. Produced 3D animations and visualizations for training and marketing purposes. Attended meetings with clients for kick-off, reviews and job completions. Attended site visits to gather relative information from the client to produce accurate representations of the product. Show less

Using previous skills obtained from my previous employer, I'd been in charge of producing high publicity visualisations such as those for the Aberdeen football stadium. These ended up on Red TV, the BBC, STV news, Press and Journal, Evening Express and on social media.Whilst being involved in the 3D aspect, I have also been given duities to work on the technical aspects of projects, including working on warrant drawings for large housing developments within Scotland.   Working alongside the project architects to produce detailed work packages for Tender, Planning & Building Warrant applications predominantly using Revit to form these packages. Having used this program since 2016 on live projects, I’ve become extremely competent in using it to the level of being able to assist fellow colleagues when they have had issues/queries. I had taken on the role of Family creation/editing within Revit for SSM on top of my general duties for the company.Having knowledge in Information Technology, I’d also taken on a role as IT manager, assisting the team in fixing any issues which may arise and liaising with our IT consultants regarding any serious problems. The job role entails providing budget costs, compiling work packs, procuring materials, managing & overseeing container loading/collections/returns, briefing labour resource prior to work commencement on-site and managing the job from start to finish whilst maintaining dialogue with the client to provide them with reports on the works undertaken. As part of my role, I also get involved in the creation of realistic 3D renders, site walkthroughs as well as offering a range of architectural services to segment (planning & tender submissions, plans, elevations, etc.).
