  Tank Fabricator

  At JVNW I was a tank fabricator. I built a range of different stainless steel wine and beer tank types from the ground up. A normal workday usually included getting parts from the yard using a forklift, layout, welding (MIG & TIG), blending and detailing. I also operated an automated welding machine called an IMCAR machine as well as an orbital welding machine for purging sanitary pipe.

  At Holland Custom Fab we are a "job shop" and we work on anything from mowers to high end residentiial and industrial kitchen equipment. We build stainless steel equipment for the wine and hemp industries as well as stainless steel counter tops and sinks from scratch. On a typical day I could be repairing a tractor bucket running hard wire or flux core or I could be welding a 24 gauge wine dump into a 16 gauge stainless counter top. A wide variety of skills are necessary at this shop. Some of the equipment I run are the press brake, shear, pinch roller, forklift, H press, TIG/MIG/Stick welders, corner notcher, iron worker, manual mill, and more. Show less
