      Call to Action for Racial Equity (CARE) is a racial justice leader that works to dismantle oppressive structures in communities of color across West Virginia. The CARE Coalition builds power that combats systemic racism in the Mountain State through community organizing, youth leadership and policy change. During my tenure as the Executive Director of CARE, I was a public-facing advocate, educator, community organizer, and activist and worked tirelessly to take an intersectional approach to mobilize directly impacted people in Appalachia.
