  MATLAB Community Toolbox Training Project: GraFT (Graph-Filtered Temporal Dictionary Learning).Signal extraction method for spatiotemporal data used for calcium imaging data processing. Provided alternate quadratic programming solution in weighted LASSO, increasing computation speed up to 65% . Improved and validated patch-based version of GraFT, reducing steps and speeding up the merger processing. Increase awareness and usage of MATLAB and Simulink in collaboration with professors, student-run-organizations, and clubs in UC Davis and across other campuses. I host workshops, seminars, and manage social media accounts, engaging with students from all coding backgrounds.

  Involved in Electrophysiological Studies of Cognition in Epilepsy Patients. Part of my work involves encoding working memory tasks that allows iEEG device be time-locked with our task administrations systems as well our electrical stimulator. For this, I interact with MATLAB, Neuralynx, and BCI2000 to build tasks. I work closely with the lab team and other intracranial research collaborators to develop tasks as well as to adjust them in response to preliminary analysis from early data collection. I also work with a neuropsychologist for input on improving task design. Clinically, I help administer the tasks, which entails coordinating with clinical teams including epileptologists, EEG technicians, and nurses. Show less
