      Activities and Societies: Regent's Scholarship Recipient, Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society, National Dean's List, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing, Music Performance I am a proud father of 2, and while enrolled as a student at UCD it was not easy for me to find time for extracurricular activities. I had a part-time job and an internship while enrolled, and took time off at various points in my college career to work full time in order to support my family. Still, I graduated with a very good GPA, and am proud to say that I made it through college as an adult in my 30's.

      Activities and Societies: Phi Theta Kappa Started out thinking my future was in Polysci. Switched to Music, then the pre-reqs for Physical Therapy. In doing so I took the most amazing lower div Molecular Biology course with Professor Naganuma which changed my life. Switched majors once again to Molecular and Cellular Biology and never looked back. Thank you Dr. Naganuma.
