  My Main Project at North Surveys as resident Project Surveyor on the GAWB Pipe Line Infrastructure project. The project consisted of 14KM of Sewerage and Water Pipeline, (2.2Km under Sea Crossing)Four sewage Pump Stations, fresh water reservoir (Four Tanks) and Relative roads and Infrastructure.My primary Task was to setup a control network on the Island/Mainland, produce a Q.A. system and Calculate designer’s drawings. As the project progressed my responsibilities became, more varied including: Setting Up Control Between Island and Mainland for Under Sea directional Drilling Producing Monthly Volume Reports on Bulk earthworks Delegation of survey requests – Four Survey Parties Consisting of 6 Personnel Q.A management  Drawing revision Control Roster Management. Auditing of EquipmentWhen we had a change of contractor, I was requested back on the project by the clients.I then supervised my employer’s surveyors as well as those of the new contractor.   As Survey Chief I was responsible for a wide variety of tasks: Workplace Health and Safety – Managing JHA, SWMS, Incidents, Prestart Delegation of Tasks – at its Peak 10 Survey Engineers Q.A Management – Reviewing field Files and Raw Data Checks Updating and Writing Survey Procedure  Drawing Revision Control – Making sure design data was relevant and QA on drawing Schedules Processing Data – Processing all new design data Re-Design – using survey information to redesign Drains, Culverts, FSL on site with Project engineer saving the project millions in delays Organizing with state Manager: Rosters, Annual Leave etc.Field Duties: On this project I have also completed many field tasks: Verticality’s on 12m Modules and Vessels, Including Marine Flare (97m) Tank and Vessel Deformation – Internal Scan Sole Plate and Shim Leveling – Pre Module Land Civil – Pre Pour On Anchor Bolts +1mm Tolerances Monitoring – Control Points and Tank Fill Settlement Monitoring Crane boom and hook deflectionIt was with great pride and due to a great crew, and survey procedure that with over 10,000 Bolts set out not one was set out of place, with over 100,000 Chargeable Hours, to have had zero NCRs is a real positive on such a large and dynamic site.
