  At Kerns Group I worked as a designer to develop a schematic design through to construction documents and then oversee that design in construction. I worked directly with project architects, engineering consultants, lighting consultants and interior designers to complete a fully project from start to finish. My collection of work included multiple cultural projects in the U.S. and internationally, including the reconstruction of Holy Trinity Cathedral that was destroyed by the earthquake of 2010.   I work as the Expeditionary Deputy Director and Senior Project Manager-Architect in the Expeditionary Directorate, Naples, Italy for U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command. Prior, was a Design Product Line Supervisor, Design Technical Branch Head, and Architect Design Manager in the Design & Construction Team. (Worked at the Washington Navy Yard in downtown D.C., before moving overseas). My position requires me to help procure, contract, negotiate, and then manage full building projects for Design Build and Design Bid Build projects of both military missions and humanitarian assistance across Europe, Africa, and Central Asia. As well as a few In-House projects where I get to be the architectural designer. I am a team lead, and have been a supervisor leading my team to produce quality products for our clients. Show less
