      Glitter is a retail chain that sells jewelry and hair accessories, with 225 stores across Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark. It is part of the Bergendahl & Son AB group. During my time at the company, it was a period of expansion, and the number of stores doubled. One of my responsibilities was as the lead project manager for the implementation of a new point-of-sale (POS) system in all stores (approximately 200 across Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark). This was a high-priority and large-scale project, representing a significant investment for the company. I was responsible for the procurement of the POS system, defining requirements, testing, implementation, and rollout. I developed and led all internal training for store employees. The training sessions and manuals were provided in both Swedish and English. Sales tracking, budgeting, forecasting, ongoing analysis, year-end closing work, and reporting to the management team and board of directors are experiences I gained during this role. This included developing templates and documents for reporting. There was also a need to enhance the financial knowledge of employees. Responsibilities included financial management, sales tracking, forecasting, ongoing analyses, budgeting, regular communication with stores and regional managers, and reporting to the Executive Team and Board of Directors.
