      Formerly Brunel Technical College, Muller House, Ashley Down, Bristol. Trained as seagoing Radio Officer, and subsequently worked for P and O for eight years in this capacity. Subjects included electronic theory, equipment operation and fault-finding, communications (morse code and spoken), procedures, safety of life at sea.
