Scope of pre casting works in this project consists of producing a total of 3144 segments of varying configuration (ISO Double track, ISO Single track, Balanced Cantilever Segments and Station span segments). I am directly responsible for casting of 1465 segments (47% of total scope). 935 typical and 530 Expansion joint segments. Working in the capacity of Superintendent, I am handling a team of 03 Engineers, 04 supervisors, 14 foremen and 130 workers. My job responsibilities here include – Review and understanding of Method Statements/Procedures and Quality Control Documents. Prepare checklists for various operations related to segmental construction. Provide site supervision to ensure works are carried out in accordance with project specifications. I ensure that standards of HSE are always implemented in my work area. I attend and monitor all operations related to mould assembly, mould closure, opening and segment lifting. Provide leadership and training to team of Engineers, Supervisors and Foremen on segmental manufacturing, finishing and handling operations in accordance with method statements and procedures.
