My key responsibilities include HR investigations, managing grievances, conflict management, running the disciplinary process, analysing trends (data-driven), advising People Leaders and HR partners on local polices and legislation.As an integral part of the team, I am involved in the Bank's redundancy initiatives, ensuring that the cases are fairly assessed/reviewed and working with impacted employees on re-deployment opportunities. We coach People Leaders on responsible and fair redundancy practices in line with MOM, MAS and TAFEP guidelines; provide advisory support to HRBPs and manage the process E2E seamlessly.Tasked with handling Industrial Relations for the Bank, I collaborate with 2 Unions - Banking and Financial Services Union (BFSU) and Singapore Bank Employees' Union (SBEU) to achieve fair outcomes for our employees. This entails discussing yearly service increments, negotiating collective bargaining agreements, solving member grievances, partnering NTUC/e2i in helping our employees with digitisation and transformation amidst an evolving financial landscape. In the spirit of Tripartism, we work very closely with the labour movement and MOM, which led to Standard Chartered Bank being awarded the Plaque of Commendation for May Day Awards 2020.My dedication and commitment to teamwork during a very demanding Covid-fueled 2020 led to my nomination for the Global ER Excellence Award.
