      Honorable Mention Sadat For Peace May 2018 My sculpture entitled “My City” won honorable mention in the Sadat For Peace art competition at the University of Maryland College Park. It featured the city skyline of Baltimore made out of bullet casings adhered together. It was made out of 343 shells, representing the total number of homicides in the city in 2017. The goal of this piece was to raise awareness for the growing violence issues in the city I am from.
