      Worked as an undergraduate assistant teacher for a local community college classes. During this time I worked closely with the master teacher to aid in the development of course content, understanding and gathering materials and other clerical work. Delivered multiple full lectures during my time to an average class size of 15 students. In addition, I assisted students with help as needed during lab time.       Successfully leads the development and alignment of comprehensive Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways, ensuring students are equipped with the skills needed for success in today's workforce. Design and implemented over 80 hours of high-quality professional development for over 150 classified and certificated staff members annually, including Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), Staff Development Workshops, and District In-Services. Oversee the district's instructional coaches; implementing systems and frameworks to assist in driving instructional excellence across all CTE offerings. Lead CTE grant writing and management, that includes CTEIG, K12SWP, Golden State Pathways, NIAG, and other state and local grants. Show less -Directs the coordination of over 103 CTE courses spanning 11 Industry Sectors across 25 career pathways, ensuring full compliance with established standards, requirements, regulations, policies, and procedures. -Designed and Developed a comprehensive district-wide curriculum and pathway development framework that includes directing and facilitating curriculum review committees to design, develop, and write curriculum that is in line with UC/CSU articulation and state curriculum standards.-Advanced district-wide Career Pathway offerings by the successful development of a Drone Operations pathway that prepares high school students to successfully pass the FAA part 107 certification exam.-Conducted extensive research to align district initiatives with K12 strong workforce and CTEIG grant applications, and adeptly composed proposals, resulting in additional grant funding over $6M.-Demonstrated proficiency in developing and managing yearly departmental fiscal budgets exceeding $2.5M.-Utilized district-wide data to drive the re-development of district-wide Professional Learning Communities for over 90 certificated staff members focusing on a three-year improvement plan to 1.) develop coherence, 2.) develop depth in instructional practices, and 3.) create meaningful experiences for students-Amplified professional learning by developing and delivering workshops. In addition, advanced access to CTE programing for middle school students by guiding a district TOSA in the development of CTE Staff Development Workshops focused on increasing the capacity of middle school teachers.-Aided in the transition and implementation of a district-wide student information system (AERIES) by developing course sequencing and tagging aligned to district goals for data collection. In addition, co-lead the transition to a digital work-based learning system to support the growing yearly collection of over 40,000 student internship hours. Show less Professional Learning Community Lead- Planed and implemented staff development trainings for over 100 high school and middle school teachers; Example Topics Include: Distance Learning, Hybrid Instruction, Ed Tech for the classroom, Integrating Standards, Increasing Student Engagement, Lesson Planning, Standards-Based Grading / 4pt integer grading. - Participated in the training and development of new teachers- Collaborate on and facilitate teacher collaboration at monthly Professional Leading Community (PLC) team meetings- leading a group of 25 teachers from 6 different subjects/pathways. PLC Highlights; data informed decision making concerning curriculum and instructional practices, collaboration on best practices for distance and hybrid instruction. PLC Protocol work: (What do we want students to know?, How do we know they have learned it?, What do we do when they have learned it?, What do we do when they have not learned it?) - Continually utilize research-based materials/resources effectively to support organizational work and personal pedagogy growth. - Served and continues to serves as a focus group leader for WASC self study. - Maintains a position on the professional growth advisory board as a professional growth advisor for teachers. Works directly with Internship sites to develop skills assessments for Interns - Designed and wrote the curriculum and instructor for UC/CSU Articulation - Approved for "G" articulation.
