      Key Projects Handled1. Technical Analysis of Wind turbine downtime and development of a novel tool for downtime comparision (Jan ’17 to Apr ’17): The objective of this project was to analyse the downtime experienced by wind turbines located in wind farms in different Indian states. The effect of turbine downtime on electricity generation and machine availability was studied and represented. The frequency of downtime due to different errors and the causes behind these errors were analysed and inferences drawn to act upon.Packages: MS Excel, Tableau, HTML,CSS.Advantage: Useful inferences on key errors in wind turbines, performance improvement of wind assets, positively affect O&M practice in wind farms2. Technical writing on Generation and downtime analysis of operational wind farms:Software used: Tableau Desktop.Advantage: Enabling the investors in identifying the major issues that lead to reduction in revenue from electricity generated from wind turbines3. Owner’s Engineering/Asset Management of Wind farms.A comprehensive desktop study that was carried out to analyse the operational data (Generation, Machine Availability, Grid Availability, Break Down, Errors) and maintenance logs to find the major area of issue to be addressed. Managing site engineers deployed at the wind farms for active monitoring of O & M Exploring possibility for improvement of WPP productivity by reducing unplanned grid and machine outage particularly during high wind period. Ensure that Local O&M team responds to machine downtimes quickly and ensure the quality of maintenance is good (from the perspective of long term health of machines). Explore possibility of improving Grid availability Ensuring the use of genuine spares and reducing the cost by minimizing the use of spares through timely maintenance and replacement of other worn components for the operation from successive year onwards.
