  Environment: Java/J2EE,C++, Linux, Shell Scripting,Sql,PL1; Summary: Sabre is a worldwide leader in Airline GDS and uses MVS (Mainframes) System for offline processing of airline data (Approx 200 GB's per day). Sabre is moving these applications to Open System(C++ On Linux) to enhance performance and reduce costs Most of the MVS applications are written in PL/1 and others in Assembly, Eazytrive, Rexx, JCL. These also use routines written in assembly and IBM utilities. We are migrating the existing MVS applications to open system environment which is based on Intel hardware with Linux operating system.
