Learning and development specialist (promoting safe and therapeutic services)

As a learning and development advisor I was tasked with training in various PMVA (Prevention and management of violence and aggression) topics as well as acquiring new qualifications, such as BLS tutor status, enabling me to teach other subjects. I also regularly searched the internet for relevant best practice and research to inform the team's practice. In addition, I had various projects which I worked on contemporaneously such as developing the PMVA e-learning package, working inter-departmentally to develop the PMVA webpage, producing a workbook, posters and other new course materials and modifying course slides to bring them up to date with current law and practice. I also made tea. Show less
