I earned a Bachelor's of Arts in Social Science after transferring from Diablo Valley College. After my completing my undergraduate program, I discovered my passion to work with students at the elementary school level. If it wasn't for an internship opportunity through AmeriCorps/CSUS, I wouldn't be where I am today. Being in the classroom during my School Counseling graduate program at CSUS also helped me validate my love to educate students on a personal and professional level.
