  Through this internship, I collaborated with the Advancement and Communications offices to support fundraising initiatives. Conducted outreach to local businesses in support of a golf tournament fundraiser, including outreach calls to alumni, to help encourage support for end-of-fiscal-year fundraising efforts. Lastly, I exemplified my graphic design skills by creating a bookmark regarding a stewardship project for higher-level donors.

  Through this position, I provided product knowledge to customers to help in their customer decision process, worked with POS systems, handled cash, and maintained an organized sales floor including assistance in building the floor sets. Most importantly I work collaboratively with fellow employees and improve sales goals each year.

  As an FYS mentor, I attend mentor meetings to go over class content, I create slideshow presentations twice a week to set up the beginning of class and provide the class agenda. I assist in the mentoring and guiding process of first-year students through their First Year Seminar Class. Through this experience, I look over a caseload of about 50 first-year students and meet with them if and when they have any questions about their time at Merrimack College. I also create and run events focused on overall health and wellness to help students create their own wellness practices. Through this position, I manage the floor during Merrimack College Television Program live shows. This includes directing cameras, mic checks, and packages. During regular meeting times, I took down notes and managed spreadsheets pertaining to segment ideas and other action items or updates for the club. In addition to these responsibilities, I create social media content on various platforms. In this role in the Honors Program in Merrimack College's Honors Student Council, I approve events, guide the delegation of tasks alongside other E-Board members, and communicate with the committees that I oversee. Through the student-run newspaper, The Beacon, my roles consist of content creation for articles and important events through various social media platforms. In addition, I take down meeting notes, including social media and article deadlines as well as facilitate discussion between other members and writers. Being a resource to first year students and helping with their overall experience within their first year here at Merrimack.
