      Automated test suites increase their usefulness significantly in software projects, from the moment they become part of continuous integration mechanisms. These integration systems are more frequently triggered as the number of developers grows and larger portions of code are added for building builds and releases. Performing a large number of tests on each integration becomes prohibitive if the tests of a suite are executed completely, regardless of the frequency of integrations. Performing a large number of tests on each integration becomes prohibitive if the tests of a suite are executed completely, regardless of the frequency of integrations. Priority techniques and selection of test cases have been proposed with the purpose of reducing the cost of the test activity, through the definition of test case classification criteria, such as: impact of changes, size, coverage, among others. We will promote studies to evaluate the effect of prioritization and selection techniques on tools of continuous integration, establishing conditions of cost, effectiveness and performance appropriate for the practice of software development in medium and large teams.
