  I am carrying out the following tasks as a temporary works coordinator:- Co-ordinate all temporary works activities, ensuring that all temporary works are adequately and safely designed, constructed, and used.- Ensure that the full extent of the temporary works is clearly identified and design classes clearly defined.- Maintain a Temporary Works Register of all Temporary Works Items Class 1 and above.- Where complex temporary work is split into several items on the Temporary Works Register, ensure that suitable design reviews, coordination, and overall checking is carried out on how the items interact.- Identify temporary works designers and design checkers for each temporary works item (if applicable).- Ensure that constraints from contract documents, method statements, construction programs, etc. are identified as early as possible to maximize lead times for the design and checks.- Where appropriate, ensure that the design is made available to other interested parties, e.g., the structural designer, construction team, and specific site management.- Ensure physical checks are carried out as appropriate during erection (staged inspections will be required on multi-frame excavations or large scaffolds).- After a final check, issue formal permission to load or proceed if this check proves satisfactory.- Issue formal permission to unload and/or dismantle the temporary works.- Register or record the drawings, calculations, and other relevant documents relating to the final design.- If works are left partially constructed during the weekend, Eid shutdown, or other prolonged periods, ensure they will be safe under all foreseeable weather conditions.- Ensure TW equipment has been subject to an appropriate inspection regime for damage/wear and tear. - Maintain records of each Temporary Works Item.- Ensure that adequate coordination/liaison has taken place with on design issues, and information for the Health and Safety team.
