  With Lafarge, the consulting team's chief role was to identify and propose sustainable, innovative, environmentally friendly and financially viable ways in which the client could use fly ash (a by-product of the cement production process) as product within South Africa. This project was run in collaboration with AL for Infrastructure - a branch of the broader African Leadership Academy (ALA) with a special focus on transformative infrastructures as a vehicle for Pan-African change.Roles:• Conducting research into fly ash - its production process, chemical/ physical properties and the different industrial sectors where it would be sustainably relevant• Preparing financial projections for the different target industries to assess the financial viability of the proposed solutions• Presenting findings to the client in the form of pitch decks and comprehensive written reports Show less

  The CodeKabana Summer Experience is an alias for a two-week long STEM workshop run in the Zambian local high schools with the aim of promoting STEM awareness thus encouraging the pursuit of STEM related subjects as a tool for change in Zambia and across continental Africa.
