As a Senior Operations Leader at Wine Rack, I shape and execute long-term strategies for 164 retail locations, with a strong focus on operational efficiency, cost control, and maximizing EBITDA. Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Retail Sales and Executive Vice President of Sales, I drive retail modernization efforts to support the expansion of Ontario’s alcohol market. This includes overseeing IT system upgrades (POS, store fulfillment, inventory management) and collaborating with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Category Management, and Real Estate) to implement store strategies and transitions. I also manage relationships with key customers (ie. major grocery banners), leading complex lease negotiations and ensuring smooth store transitions. Additionally, I oversee the operations budget with a focus on implementing cost-reduction initiatives and ensuring financial goals are met through strategic planning and budget management. Show less As a Senior Sales Leader at RJS Craft Winemaking, I reported directly to the Vice President of Sales and managed a $29.7M NSR portfolio across Canada and the U.S., overseeing relationships with independent retailers, distributors, and corporate grocery chains. I led the development and execution of a national channel strategy, aligning corporate goals with sales programs to drive market share growth through new account acquisition, swing account conversion, and premium product sales. I also managed P&L by identifying risks and opportunities, guiding cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, Demand Planning, Production) to optimize budget, pricing, discounts, rebates, and COGS, while providing recommendations on forecast volumes, promotional plans, and product launches. In addition, I directed a team of Supervisors, Field Sales, and Inside Sales to ensure the effective implementation of national strategies, territory prioritization, and achievement of sales objectives inclusive of launching a National Customer Loyalty program across 500+ retail stores, enhancing customer engagement and brand loyalty.
