      Activities and Societies: Surf Society, Hockey Society, Rock Climbing, Running, Weight lifting, life drawing In 2015 I completed my Masters in Advanced Textiles. I chose to specify in medical textiles and completed my research dissertation on infection detection in chronic wounds. I took modules in research methodology, laboratory and textiles testing skills, non-woven textiles, advanced coloration and textiles finishing, and performance textiles and obtained a distinction and the highest overall mark in my year.

      Activities and Societies: Academic Representative, Played National Premier League for Surbiton Ladies hockey club, Ran Bath Half Marathon raising money for Stroke Association I studied one year of the two year foundation degree course in Fashion and Textiles. I gained excellent skills and understanding in pattern cutting, dress-making, complex textiles processes, fashion design, CAD, and Adobe Suite. The course opened my eyes up to technical textiles, a mixture of my undergraduate degree and my current course, which I found fascinating. I completed a research project and presentation on nanofibres and decided to apply for an MSc in Advanced Textiles over the summer.
