  Our Community Safety Outreach team at the Auto Club Group was eliminated from the company in the Fall of 2009, and I chose to retire from there after 32 years. During my active job search which followed, I continued volunteering for many of the public safety organizations that I had been involved with. This included helping to launch a new Township Fire Board and a new roadway safety nonprofit, Safe Kids instruction, high school distracted driving instruction, child seat inspections and facilitation for traffic safety committees. I provided instruction, consulting and communication services for these groups. Show less
