Most notably provided illustrations for installing a turtle excluder device (TED) into a crab pot, illustrations that have been instrumental in informing the public about the importance of protecting native terrapins. These instructions and artwork have been adopted by several other organizations, including the Virginia Institute of Marine Science and the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources.
