  I have been appointed to Chief Of Corrections in charge of the Portsmouth City Jail. I am still currently splitting my duties as Commander of the Professional Standards Division and running Human Resources along with my new position until my replacement is selected. At that point I will move solely to my new position. I am the Professional Standards Divisional Commander with a rank of Captain. I oversee Human Resources, Accreditations, and A.C.T. (Accountability, Communications and Teamwork). I spent over 23 years within the Portsmouth City Jail where I held positions from Basic Deputy Sheriff, Master Deputy, Field Training Officer, Sergeant of Intake and Receiving and then Watch Commander with a rank of Lieutenant. I was promoted to the rank of Captain in February of 2019.
