This coursewill be conducted in “live” disaster environments where providers canexpect challenging scenarios and where medical care is brought directlyto the patient. These specialized environments include concretestructural collapse, confined space and motor vehicle crash/entrapment.Advanced airway management will be expected prior to victim removalwith the goal of improving patient outcome.Technical Rescue Medical Specialist Course: -for the practicing TRT paramedic who wants to learn appropriatepatient management in the technical rescue environment. The TechnicalRescue Med Spec course is designed to better address the patient’s needs asthey relate to the technical rescue. The course brings medical care to thepatient’s side in disaster scenarios by injecting the medical careprovider/student into the “live” rescue scenario.
